Our History

Over the winter of 1959-1960, Gertrude MacFarlane as "producer" and Guen Sydney as "secretary" organized a series of three concerts. The success of this first series was such that at the last of its concerts, the audience was asked to vote the Lakeshore Chamber Music Society into existence.
